GOODBYE LADY LIBERTY.
96 min (out now, Manga Video)

Goodbye Lady Liberty is a contemporary cartoon for serious anime fans and newcomers alike. Wolf is a gentleman thief of international notoriety. His greatest strengths are his creative mind and his strong intellect. He is charming, well-dressed and has a good sense of humour. Wolf also has several accomplices, who are in their own eccentric ways as unique as characters get in Japanese animation.

In this episode, The Statue of Liberty has been stolen, and is reported to have somewhere inside it a stone crystal that can be used to control the world's most deadly computer virus.

A James Bond-style underground organisation of Satanists is after the diamond to spark a world war, but Wolf just needs its power to wipe out his criminal records from every police file in the world and finally go straight (no, say it's not true).

Adventure, love, humour, and the latest gun-blazing technology make both this a top-rate production.

THE HEMINGWAY PAPERS.
90 min (UK/USA release TBA)

Word is out that the "Hemingway Papers" - the newly discovered last novel by the great author - tells the hiding place of a buried treasure on a desolate Mediterranean island.

Wolf sneaks onto the island where, instead of treasure-hunting, he finds himself embroiled in a violent struggle for power. To Wolf's surprise, his old buddies Jigen and zen warrior Goemon are also in the fight for their own reasons.

A rival criminal, Marcus (alias the Merchant of Death) lands on the island accompanied by sensual Fujiko, Wolf's greatest weakness, closely followed by Interpol Inspector Zenigata, the bane of Wolf's criminal existence. With this crazy bunch of misfits together on such a small island, mayhem can be the only result!

NAPOLEON'S DICTIONARY
.
90 min. (UK/USA release TBA)

Wolf has a lively time of it this time in a classic car race from Madrid to Paris.

The race prize is Napoleon's dictionary, which contains the key to the Treasure of Lé Grand Empire, something that just about everybody seems to be after. Wolf and his old buddies Jigen, Goemon and Fujiko, take off after the prize, pursued not only by the perennial Inspector Zenigata, but also by an army of secret agents from countries all around the world.

Classic cars and state-of-the-art weaponry heighten the speed and thrills of this amusing adventure.

BANK OF LIBERTY
.
90 min. (UK/USA release TBA)

This time our hero Wolf is after 500 tons of gold bullion that used to belong to the House of Romanov, the old murdered rulers of the Russian Empire.

His only clue is a code in an ancient book that a cipher machine has broken down to the words "Bank of Liberty". As always, whenever Wolf's involved, the situation gets complicated.

This clever adventure takes him through the USA and Russia, with loads of action and classic Tintin-style escapades along the way.

VOYAGE TO DANGER
.
97 min (UK/USA release TBA)

Interpol detective Zenigata is suddenly withdrawn from his special investigation of Wolf and ordered to investigate a smuggling organisation instead.

Wolf sympathises with his long time rival, and decides to help him out - an ironic combination of thief and police inspector thrown together into a stew of action and gunfire and mixed! Wolf and his crew finally have to steal a giant nuclear submarine to attract the attention of the smugglers, who are already getting ready to shock the world with their own bizarre plans.

DRAGON OF DOOM
.
96 min (UK release TBA)

Wolf will go to unbelievable lengths (and depths) for quick riches.

This time it's a gold ornament buried inside the Titanic and encoded with messages that could enable the finder to control the world. Unknown to Wolf, his old pal Goemon is after it as well. Wolf's voyage to the bottom of the sea is cut short, however, by a rival tycoon and his army of thugs who take the ornament and Fujiko, Wolf's ever-charming admirer.

But always one to bounce right back, Wolf, with the help of his jazz-loving sidekick Jigen, is determined to retrieve both the girl and his criminal gig.
