From the back cover:
'Book One documents the journey of Dr Tim, an unassuming genius on the run for what he knows. Travel with Dr Tim across the globe eluding capture. Follow Dr Tim through the galaxy as he tries to return to earth. Watch Dr Tim escape danger armed with only a nervous stomach and a No 2 pencil.'

The book is a loosely-connected series of cartoons, drawn in a simplistic but attractive style - there are samples on the website - of Dr Tim's journey. Sort of. As I say, they are loosely-connected. Some of them are amusing. A couple of them are funny, like the alien Ushmoo asking Dr Tim, 'Why do we both speak English?' It's funnier in the book. A number of them poke fun at well-known SF films. I spotted homages to 'The Fly', '2001: A Space Odyssey' and 'Planet Of The Apes', as well as a handful of horror films.

However...the overwhelming feeling after reading the book is a bemused, 'Why?' The idea is cute. There's nothing wrong with the characters, but the book simply fails to engage either the mind or the emotions. Mine, anyway, and I like cartoons.

There's not a lot more I can say. I can't in all conscience recommend it widely, as I think it will only appeal to a small number of film/SF aficionados.

The fact that it's Book One suggests there may be more to follow. I'm not sure whether that's a good or bad thing. Though there's always room for improvement, I suppose...
