The 'Star Wars: Legacy' series, of which this is the first graphic novel, is set 120 years after the events of the sixth and final 'Star Wars' film, 'Return Of The Jedi'. A new Sith Lord has arisen, deposing the Emperor and hunting down and killing many of the Jedi, repeating the catastrophes of the past.

The last Skywalker, Cade, haunted by visions of Luke Skywalker, fails to save his father from the Sith and drifts towards the dark side in healing his master's wounds. Seven years later, with the Sith fully in control and the Jedi in hiding, Cade has given up his father's way of life and is living as a bounty hunter, cruel and selfish.

When he crosses paths with the daughter of the old Emperor, who is in hiding and doesn't seem to be evil, Cade is forced to confront his pare better comic books out there for your money and if you want 'Star Wars' action, just re-watch 'The Empire Strikes Back' as this won't improve on that experience.
