This is the second of the two-part adventure that brings to a conclusion the current run of the Eighth Doctor originally broadcast on BBC7. With drama heavies in the cast including Roy Marsden, Nicholas Grace and the superb-cybermen voiced by Nick Briggs, this is a galaxy-spanning experience.

Lucie Miller found herself a job with a difference. Now she is out of work and has left the building. Outside is an alien landscape but inside those unpleasant tin men, who never go rusty, are once again plotting to take over the world. The Doctor is stuck with the humourless cans and Lucie must use her own human resources to crack the security guard and get back inside. The Headhunter helps Lucie reluctantly but ex-employees Karen and Malcolm are rather more enthusiastic. They must overcome the Cybermen, sort out the Time Lords and generally get the office sorted before 5pm. No problem then.

This final episode also ties up Lucie's kidnap and placement with the Doctor and adds a few more tantalising glimpses into the world of the Time Lords. Actually, they mostly sound rather petulant as if they have lost their teddies.

A superb finish to the series that has been marked by some strong guest voices that added a lot to the production. The writing has been good with lots of wit and one-liners to lighten the whole death and destruction experience.

This has been a great run of dramas and strengthens the character of the originally ill-used eighth Doctor. Lucie has been a funny and annoying sidekick, a perfect foil to his world-weary cynicism. Happily, there is good news and 'Here Comes Lucie' again in a new series of adventures which will be broadcast initially on BBC7. There is a little taster at the end of this CD, which has snippets of the eight new adventures that will be released monthly from February next year. As Lucie would say, 'Woo Hoo!'
