The thoughts and musings of Stephen Hunt

Is good, yes?
Well, I've just came back from GamesFest (preceded before that by some heavy air-mile action for the day job, single-handedly trying to stave off the collapse of capitalism and the free market system - yep, I failed. Sorry. That slurping sound you can hear is all of our assets being flushed down the toilet).

The Heart of Literature
Well, yours truly has been mega-busy on the interview trail for the release of The Court of the Air in the US (aka book I), and The Kingdom Beyond the Waves in the UK (aka book II).

SFX reviews the Kingdom Beyond the Waves
There's a nice review of the Kingdom Beyond the Waves in this month's SFX magazine but no less a man than David Langford.

Look for the cover with the big red ape from Hellboy. I think it's the June 2008 issue that was out in May.

Pimp m'book
It seems like only yesterday that the hardback for my fantasy novel The Court of the Air came out, so imagine my surprise when a crate of shiny new crimson author's copies of The Court of the Air's paperback lands on my doorstep... same illustration, new reversed colour design. Hmmmm. Nice.

The call of the wild
A friend if mine passes me a leaflet for her family home in South Africa, unlike mine, not a semi in London, but a sprawling spread the size of Hampshire with farms and glorious sunshine. Barbeques in the veldt, relaxing in the beauty of the Free State.
