Since we announced the existence of the annual awards, a lot of webmasters and site owners have asked if making their users aware of the 'Woodies' and then asking their readers to vote for a specific site (normally their own) would be classed as a breach of the rules.

The answer is no, as long as at no point in your 'encouragement' do you suggest to your users that they should vote multiple times, or publish hackers tips on how to breach the security systems we are running.

To make it easy for science fiction and fantasy site owners, we've designed a range of official badges and logos you can use to point to the Wooden Rockets to encourage your users to vote.

Please point any hyper links to http://www.WoodenRocket.com/ rather than any pages deeper down as (a) specific deep page URLs are liable to change, breaking your link and (b) by arriving at the home page, netizens will get a chance to read the rules etc before voting, thereby minimising the chance that their vote will be 'spoiled' and declared invalid.
